What we learned at the park..........

 Yoga is not the exclusive domain of yuppies in Lululemon athletic wear!

In this country where Yoga was born, it is a part of everyday life for many people.

This group of gentlemen, happy to pose for photos, are regulars in Terraced Gardens where we jog.

In other parts of the park, people sit in deep meditation.

Yoga was on my To Do list for our time in India, but I haven't gotten to it yet.   Must leave something for next time!



So, instead of me posing, another regular in the park showed us what he could do.

So, I will dedicate this blog to my sister-in-law Patty, an avid Yoga practitioner, who had a birthday yesterday, November 17.  Happy Birthday, Patty!

Happy Birthday also to my sister, Gwen, who has a birthday today.  She thinks this is reason for another festival in India!

Also, Happy Birthday to 14-year-old Sophie Huizinga!

It is the birthday season, and we have two more to celebrate this week at UFV Chandigarh.

And, the marigolds are starting to bloom in the park!
