So many things are happening here I haven't been keeping up with the visitors!
Back on November 10, our awards day, we had a visit from Ranjit Sidhu, his Father, and his family from Abbotsford.
They also have a home in Bathinda. It is in the Punjab about 225 km west of Chandigarh. We have been invited to visit them there and will have to see if it is possible before we leave.
We didn't have much time to visit but we were joined by Jackie and Mark (they were here at the time) for lunch at the Bistro Flamme Bois.
Yesterday, Parm Bains, from Abbotsford, did a guest lecture spot in our Business 100 class. He talked about his blueberry business and his plans for India. It is always good for students to hear the inside story from someone who is in business.
Made my mouth water to think about those big, juicy blueberries we have at home!
Parm had his Canadian business partner from Pitt Meadows with him as well.
Did someone say photos?
It doesn't take much encouragement to get the students to pose with guests.
Later in the evening, I joined the men at our favourite Consul General's house for dinner. Scot Slesser is a great host and always welcomes Canadians and others to his table.
I think our taxes will have to be increased to cover the cost of the many meals we have eaten there.
No more boring pictures of people sitting around the table, though. These guys were happy to "strike a pose."
Parm's business partner from India joined them in this photo.
We now look forward to seeing Jagdish Gill who should have arrived in Delhi today, and of course, Mike De Jong when he makes his trek across the Punjab during the first week of December!
