We did remember to get the standard "first day of school" photo taken yesterday as we left for the university. Looks like we had as much luggage as we had when we travelled here.
Today's class was the second year group in Business 203 - Organizational Behaviour. Again we met a very nice group of students and were impressed with their interest in and knowledge of business. Many are expressing an interest in doing some of their courses in Abbotsford, and we, of course, are encouraging that.
Our choice for a delicious light lunch is the mango shake! Yumm! We are told that mango season will soon be over so we should have many of these while they are available.
We continue to monitor the progress of the masonry project going on below our window. Today, concrete was being mixed by hand, carried on the head, dumped and smoothed over the base of hand-crushed brick. Oh, such hard work as we sit and watch in air conditioned comfort!
We ventured a little farther from home on foot today to a shopping area quite close to the university. There we found a small dry goods shop that had a huge selection of casual Indian clothing. So, for 750 rupees, I have a new outfit to wear. I think that merchant will get to know the three women from this house pretty well over the next three months.
