The drummer begins and the dance is on--and the finished routine will last about 1/2 hour. It is quite a workout!
These dedicated UFV dancers practiced from 6 am to 8 am this morning, and then again from 4:30 to 6:30 this evening.
Good progress has been made since the team formed last Friday.

And when we arrived home this evening, the neighbourhood herd was feasting on the "offerings" across the street.
Tomorrow is a government holiday, though not for us. But, after class we are off to Ludhiana and, I believe, to witness the triumph of good over evil at the festival called Dussehra. |
